Motivation

The ERC-6909 EU Bond Platform for SMEs is an EU-funded real-world asset project focused on making bond issuance and exchange infrastructure more accessible for small and medium-sized enterprises. The technical challenge is not only blockchain implementation. The platform has to respect regulated financial workflows, operational control, auditability, and integration with off-chain processes.

Role

Luboš serves as the leading blockchain developer for the platform. The work combines smart contract engineering, security-minded architecture, production delivery, and coordination with requirements that come from regulated finance rather than from purely technical experimentation.

Engineering direction

The blockchain layer is designed with a security-first approach: explicit assumptions, reviewable flows, strong test coverage, and an architecture that can be reasoned about by both engineers and domain stakeholders. ERC-6909 is used as a core standard for representing bond-related assets in a compact and extensible way.

Agent development

The project also creates a natural place for AI agent development. Useful agent directions include compliance assistance, market monitoring, document and requirement analysis, operational alerts, and interfaces that help teams understand what is happening across a regulated platform.

Challenges

The most interesting engineering problems sit at the boundary between regulated finance and production blockchain systems: making the system understandable, secure, testable, and useful while preserving the flexibility required by real financial operations.

Current status

The platform is active. Current work focuses on production-grade blockchain development, security preparation, operational quality, and AI-assisted workflows around compliance and monitoring.
